TAX PLANNING IN AN UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT 


Taxpayers are facing challenges we could have never imagined.  However, the CARES Act and other legislation provide tax and financial opportunities that may be very valuable to taxpayers.  We will cover “second chances” afforded by the CARES Act as well as tax planning strategies that can still be implemented for the 2020 tax year and beyond. 

Jenny Kramer, Partner, Tax, Sikich

Jenny Kramer, CPA, is a partner that has been helping closely-held businesses and their owners with their tax planning and compliance needs since 2005. She specializes in taking the time to understand her clients’ overall business strategies so that she can provide a clear understanding of the tax implications of their goals and develop tax planning opportunities that will coincide with and enhance their objectives. Jenny assists clients in areas such as:

  • Tax planning and compliance for manufacturers and distributors
  • Multi-state tax issues and opportunities
  • Tax planning and compliance for individuals
  • Strategic research and income tax projects

Jill Boyle, Senior Manager, Not-for-Profit Tax, Sikich


Jill Boyle, CPA, is a senior tax manager at Sikich with more than 13 years of

experience providing tax and compliance services to a variety of clients, with a

concentration in serving not-for-profits and individual taxpayers. Jill primarily

serves public charities, private foundations, and professional organizations.

She is an extraordinary resource to clients and provides direction and

leadership for the tax team. Jill is a certified public accountant (CPA). She

assists clients in areas of:

  • Form 990 completion
  • Tax consulting and planning for tax-exempt organizations
  • Analysis and structuring for unrelated business income
  • Consulting and planning for private foundations
